How does Campr's safety scheme work for hosts?

All rentals via Campr are covered by the safety scheme, in addition to the vehicle's own insurance. The renter's deposit is used first. Campr can compensate damage up to NOK 20,000 directly (requires comprehensive insurance). For larger damage, your comprehensive insurance is used, and Campr covers your excess up to NOK 10,000 plus 15% of the repair cost (max NOK 20,000). You can also be compensated for 50% of lost rental income. Damage must be reported no later than 36 hours after the rental ends.
